Dr. Narendra Hiralal Kale has made significant contributions to dentistry, higher education, and rural development through his leadership at both the state and university levels. His journey reflects a strong commitment to public service, professional ethics, and academic excellence.
As the President of the Maharashtra State Dental Council, Mumbai, a statutory body constituted under the Dentists Act, 1948, Dr. Kale served from 22nd November 2018 to till date. During this tenure, he provided effective leadership in regulating and strengthening dental practice and professional standards across the state. His guidance ensured the council’s active role in maintaining ethical practices and safeguarding the interests of both practitioners and patients.
In addition to his work in dentistry, Dr. Kale has also played an influential role in the academic sphere. He served as an Ex. Management Council Member of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, under the Maharashtra Public University Act–2016 (Clause 30(i)). His tenure began on 15th June 2018 and continues to the present day, where he contributes to policy-making and institutional development. He is also a Member of the Senate of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University under Clause 28(t) of the same Act, a position he has held since 8th December 2017, further strengthening his involvement in academic governance.
Dr. Kale’s dedication to rural development is evident through his association as a Member of the Loknete Gopinathrao Munde Rural Development Organization at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, a project supported by the Government of Maharashtra. His vision has been instrumental in initiatives designed to uplift rural communities through education and sustainable development.
His longstanding connection with the Maharashtra State Dental Council, Mumbai, also deserves mention. First elected under Clause 21, Sub-clause (c) of the Dentists Act, 1948, on 4th October 2008, he continues to serve as a dedicated member, contributing to the advancement of dental education and professional regulations in Maharashtra.
Beyond higher education and dentistry, Dr. Kale also supports school-level education as a Member of the Vidyalaya Management Committee of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Gadhi, Georai, Dist. Beed, where he works to strengthen academic excellence and holistic student development.
Through these diverse leadership roles, Dr. Narendra Kale has combined his expertise in healthcare, education, and social service to build a legacy of integrity, inclusivity, and progressive change
